Exploring the grand resort in Luigi's Mansion 3 requires a keen eye for hidden secrets scattered across every unique floor. The Grand Lobby, which serves as the very first floor, contains six beautifully hidden collectibles that players can easily miss during their initial walkthrough. By mastering your ghost-hunting gear early on, you can successfully track down every single hidden stone in this spectacular entrance area.
Revealing the Hidden Gems Near the Reception Desk
The first collectible can be found by heading directly toward the main counter where checking in originally took place. You need to use your trusty Suction Shot on the prominent emblem located right behind the desk to open a secret compartment. Doing this successfully drops the white jewel, which completes the first step of your lobby checklist.
Another valuable item is located near the elevator area just past the initial entrance corridors. Use your powerful strobe light on the flashing green sensor panel positioned near the elevator doors to trigger a special mechanism. A hidden safe will open immediately, revealing the purple jewel for players to collect.
Navigating the Lobby Lounge and Upper Balcony Space
Moving over to the left side of the main hall reveals a cozy seating lounge area filled with old furniture. You must utilize the Dark-Light device to reveal a missing couch that has been completely vanished by mischievous spirits. Capturing the resulting spirit balls causes the clear blue jewel to materialize out of thin air.
To reach the upper levels of the lobby, players must head up the grand staircase and head towards the right balcony. Walk down the long carpeted hallway until you notice a beautiful painting depicting a sparkling gemstone. Shining your specialized Dark-Light directly at the canvas will free the trapped yellow jewel instantly.
Slamming Objects and Finding Hidden Hallway Triggers
The remaining collectibles require players to interact thoroughly with the hotel environment using physics based attacks. On the upper left balcony walkway, you will spot a long decorative tapestry hanging flat against the wall. Fire a plunger at the fabric and pull it down forcefully using your vacuum to expose a small alcove containing the green jewel.
The final red jewel on this floor is hidden inside a sneaky trap mechanic located near the main entrance doors. Walk over to the right side of the lower lobby floor where a small round table sits underneath a decorative shield. Slamming the nearby objects or using the burst jump mechanic will cause the final red crystal to drop down from above, ensuring your floor collection is complete.
